Very informative post. I would like to add here that always hire your moving company well in advance as there is a lot of paperwork and documents that goes into planning an international move and it is very difficult for a professional company to handle your shipment properly if you do not give them sufficient time.

What information can you give me about moving horses out of Costa Rica to the United States? My partner has two horses on his property in Costa Rica that he would like to move to the US as he is selling the Costa Rican property.

Thanks!
